If you haven’t heard about the Lipidol range, uhm where have you been? This brand recently hatched into the South African market and since we seem to lack any good oil based, non-comedogenic products suitable for sensitive skin types, the Lipidol range has taken off. Lets see what the hype is all about.
Recently I was selected by Beauty Bulletin to review Lipidol’s Cleansing Face Oil, thank you Beauty Bulletin. Being a coconut oil fan *pours coconut oil over entire life*, I'm not new to using oils as make-up removers. They are awesome at removing stubborn make-up, impurities and also don't come with the drying affect that most other make-up removers cause.
I started out by applying the oil with my finger tips onto my face and massaging gently. Make-up literally ooooozes right off. The packaging then instructs to add a little water to lather. At first I was like what the F, but I was pleasantly surprised, it totally does lather and facilitates in removing make-up and of course without causing drying. Literally like a face oil wash/moisturiser! What a time to be alive!
Then pat dry with towel and you’re left clean, moisturised bliss. Glowing, supple and like baby's bottom when I awoke in the morning.
I wouldn’t normally spend R80 on a face wash or a make up remover, but this gem does go beyond it’s capabilities, face wash, make-up remover, moisturiser. Sold!
Love this gem!
